The new Lamia Vox album, named "Alles ist Ufer. Ewig ruft das Meer (Everything is shore. The sea calls forever)" after the Gesänge poem by Gottfried Benn, bears a spiritual message, a counterblast, an antagonism to the rationality and greedy materialism of the post-theist and nihilistic age.

Inspired by the Early Modern poetry, Hermetic ideas, Fin-de-siècle Symbolism and Naturphilosophie, this album celebrates another world, one of the higher dimensions, beyond the human sphere, a world of intoxicated and ecstatic alchemy of poetic language and ideas. The upward movement, a breakthrough from the bonds of materia straight to the source of life and eternity.
Dionysian liberating lawlessness opposes the sterile rationalism. The creativity, divine madness, metanoia as a form of ultimate salvation.

Poetry is always a sailing: it is the secret recipe, the process and the laboratory of the Magnum Opus, a divine gift of deliberated madness.

Cover is by Artem Grigoryev, inside photographs by Krist Mort, layout by Frederic Arbour.
The lyrics use texts and poetry by Georg Trakl, Arthur Rimbaud, Aleister Crowley, Friedrich Hölderlin, The Hymns of Orpheus, transl. by Thomas Taylor.
Composed by, recorded and mastered by Alina Antonova, in 2019-2020 in Prague.
